12" Bradford Pear Spoon with Chip Carving
Signature Series
$45.00
Carved by hand from storm-fallen Bradford pear, this 12-inch spoon is a smaller, more nimble piece with a graceful egg-shaped bowl and a long, comfortable handle. It’s the kind of spoon that feels easy to reach for — light in the hand, useful at the stove, and refined enough to bring to the table.
The wood has a beautiful two-tone contrast, with pale sapwood running alongside warmer pink and honey-colored heartwood. That natural split gives the spoon a quiet, graphic quality, especially through the bowl where the colors meet in a soft curve.
Along the handle, a row of hand-cut triangle chip carving adds texture and rhythm, while a small engraved starburst detail gives the piece a subtle focal point. The decoration is understated, but it catches the light and adds just enough detail to make the spoon feel special.
Finished smooth to the touch with food-safe oil, this spoon is made for everyday cooking, serving, and enjoying for years.
