12" Apple Cooking Spoon

A cooking spoon should feel comfortable in your hand, work hard in the kitchen, and still have enough character to make you enjoy reaching for it. This 12-inch Signature Series spoon is hand-carved from apple wood, with warm golden color and striking darker grain running through the bowl.

Its generous 2-3/4-inch bowl is well suited for stirring soups and sauces, sautéing vegetables, folding ingredients together, and serving straight from the pot. The handle is intentionally slimmer than many of my cooking spoons, giving it a lighter, more delicate feel while still providing plenty of reach.

Along the edges of the handle, I carved a series of subtle scallops that add texture and rhythm to the shape. A small hand-cut star provides one quiet finishing detail, while the natural color variation in the apple wood remains the real focus.

It’s an everyday cooking tool with just enough hand-carved detail to make it feel anything but ordinary.
