12" Baked Geometric Maple Spurtle

This 12-inch Premium Series spurtle is designed to be a tool you’ll reach for constantly—useful for everyday mixing and stirring, but with enough texture and character to make it feel genuinely special in your hand.

The maple has been baked using a special finishing process that transforms its normally pale, creamy color into deep, rich brown tones. The treatment also brings out the grain, giving the working end a warm, almost toasted appearance with subtle carved facets that catch the light.

Its broad, gently tapered shape is especially useful for stirring sourdough starter, mixing dough and batter, folding ingredients together, and scraping along the sides and corners of bowls and pots.

The handle is what really sets this piece apart. A long row of hand-cut geometric chip carving creates a strong graphic pattern while also giving your fingers a wonderful tactile surface to hold.
