13" Bradford Pear Cooking Spoon
Signature Series
$45.00
Carved by hand from a storm-fallen Bradford Pear, this 13-inch spoon is a quiet celebration of form, function, and material. Bradford Pear is a dense, fine-grained wood that carves beautifully — and this piece is especially striking. Early spalting has added swirls of pink and amber through the bowl and handle, layered over the natural contrast between the warm heartwood and pale sapwood. The coloring is the result of fungal activity just beginning to move through the wood — caught at the right moment, it creates markings no two spoons will ever share.
The gently elongated, oblong bowl is thoughtfully shaped for right-handed cooks, offering natural control whether you're stirring a simmering pot or serving at the table. Its contours cradle ingredients with ease, while the slim handle provides a comfortable, balanced grip during long use.
Finished smooth to the touch and designed to age beautifully, this spoon is as durable as it is refined — made to be used daily and treasured for years.
