Apple Cooking Spoon — Fish Kolrosing

Signature Series (Storm Drop - Log No. 2)

$50.00

This 12-inch cooking spoon was hand-carved from an apple limb that came down in a local Needham storm—wood that’s full of character and meant to be used, admired, and passed down. The bowl carries a striking patch of natural heartwood, giving this piece a warm, organic contrast that no factory spoon could ever replicate.

Along the handle, a hand-cut kolrosed fish brings a quiet nod to traditional folk art. Each scale is individually incised and pigmented, adding a subtle, tactile detail that invites a closer look. Light in the hand but sturdy in use, this spoon is equally at home stirring a pot of soup or serving at the table.

A one-of-a-kind functional artwork carved from a single storm-fallen tree—once it’s gone, it’s gone.
