Black Birch Cooking Spoon — Fish & Minnows Kolrosing
Signature Series

Out of stock
This spoon has a cast of characters. A fish leads three minnows, carved by hand using traditional kolrosing, with each line cut directly into the wood and filled with pigment.
The spoon itself is carved from black birch and shaped for everyday work. At 13” long with a flat-tipped bowl, it’s made for scraping pans, folding ingredients, and getting into corners without fuss. Strong, balanced, and comfortable in the hand, it’s meant to be used often.
As the spoon sees more time at the stove, the wood will deepen in color while the kolrosed fish keep their contrast. The result is a cooking tool that works hard, looks good doing it, and brings a bit of personality to the kitchen.
