Bradford Pear Spoon with Geometric Kolrosing
Signature Collection
$50.00
Bring more warmth and character to everyday cooking with a spoon made to work beautifully and age gracefully. This hand-carved flat-tipped cooking spoon helps you stir, scrape, sauté, and serve with ease — so the simple act of making a meal feels more grounded and enjoyable.
Carved from a storm-fallen Bradford Pear, it features warm pinkish-brown tones and flowing grain that deepen with use. The broad flat tip reaches into pan corners, while the long handle gives you comfort and control at the stove. Running the length of the handle is a geometric kolrosing design — a traditional Scandinavian technique sometimes called scrimshaw for wood, where fine lines are etched into the surface and filled with cinnamon. The result is an intricate pattern that you can see and feel, adding grip and quiet beauty without raising the surface.
Burnished with a river rock and finished with food-safe oil, it's a dependable kitchen tool made to be used often, loved for years, and passed from hand to hand.
