Curvy Maple Server
Signature Series
$45.00
This 13-inch Signature Series spoon is hand-carved from maple with a deep, generous bowl that makes it especially useful as a serving spoon or light ladle. At 2-3/4 inches wide and just over 1/2 inch deep, it holds enough for serving soups, stews, vegetables, sauces, and other dishes straight from the pot.
The spoon follows the natural curve of the branch it came from, giving the handle a gentle bend rather than forcing the wood into a perfectly straight line. That shape feels natural in the hand and keeps some of the tree’s original character visible in the finished piece.
The bowl also carries a striking transition between the maple’s pale sapwood and darker heartwood. A small knot near the bottom of the bowl adds another unmistakably natural detail—a reminder that this started as a branch, not a uniform piece of lumber.
It’s a substantial, useful kitchen spoon shaped around the character that was already in the wood.
