This matched set of salad servers was carved from a single small maple limb, gathered after seasonal trimming in Needham, Massachusetts. The wood carries light, natural figure and subtle color variation that reflects its origin — a modest branch turned into something quiet and refined.

Each handle is decorated with a dandelion motif using traditional kolrosing that tells a story across both spoons. Fine incised lines create a soft, wind-drift effect that integrates cleanly with the spoon form. The design is subtle enough for daily use but distinctive enough to read as a crafted piece of functional art.
