Figured Apple Spurtle
Signature Series
$30.00
This 12-inch Signature Series spurtle is hand-carved from apple wood, with a slim 1-1/2-inch working face that makes it especially useful for stirring, folding, scraping, and working around the edges of a pan.
What really sets this piece apart is the grain. The apple has unusually strong figure, with swirling lines and shifting color running through the face and handle. The hand-carved texture catches the light differently across the surface, making the grain even more pronounced.
A simple grass stalk is kolrosed into the handle, adding a quiet carved detail without competing with the natural movement already happening in the wood.
It’s a practical kitchen tool built around a particularly beautiful piece of apple.
