Hewn Line Spoon —13" Toasted Maple
Premium Collection
$60.00
Some tools do more than serve a purpose—they change the feeling of the work itself.
The Hewn Line Spoon is carved by hand from baked maple, transformed through a special baking process that draws the wood into warm amber tones and reveals the rare quilted figure flowing through the handle. In changing light, the grain seems to move beneath the surface, giving the spoon a quiet life of its own.
Running the length of the handle, geometric chip carving creates a steady rhythm of line and shadow. Each cut is made by hand, adding texture for the fingers and a sense of intention that can be seen and felt. It is detail with presence, not excess.
At 13 inches, it is long and balanced in the hand, made for stirring a pot slowly, tasting as you go, serving something worth sharing. The bowl is generous, the reach natural, the weight reassuring.
Some pieces are admired on a shelf. Others become part of daily ritual. This one was made for both.
