Two-Tone Maple Cooking Spoon

This 12-inch Everyday Series cooking spoon is hand-carved from maple, with a natural mix of pale sapwood and warmer heartwood that gives the spoon a lot of variation and character.

Its 2-1/2-inch bowl is a useful all-around size for stirring, mixing, sautéing, and serving. The gently curved handle follows the natural shape of the wood and sits especially comfortably in the hand, giving the spoon an easy, balanced feel in use.

A small knot in the bowl and the shifting heartwood and sapwood keep the spoon connected to the tree it came from. A delicate kolrosed detail on the handle adds one quiet handmade touch without taking away from its simple, practical character.
